Dog Rescue in Pulau Ketam

It is sad to see that the dogs were inhumanely banished to isolated islands due to the sick excuse of overpopulations in Pulau Ketam. 300 stray dogs left in the swampy islands were found weak, thin and starving and some had resorted to cannibalism. Poor thing..

Furry Friends Farm and other good souls out there are in the midst of rescuing the survivors from the islands. Here are the sites for all friends and readers who wish to contribute help physically or financially.

Earth, Space and Light

Here comes the Star Trek fever.. Star Trek has been everyones' childhood movie and again all will be looking forward for Spock and the Enterprise. Yes, both my humano Ron and Jen will be watching it soon once they have their spare time. It's a great movie not to be missed..

I personally think that Zachary Quinto suits for the Spock character with his feature (sharp eyes, pointed nose and now comes with pointy ears for a Vulcan) and his cool mysterious personality like how he portrayed in Heroes. Yes and again, the humano are watching Heroes Season 3 back home depriving me of my ball fetching game. But again, I wouldn't mind if we can promptly go for a brief walk around the playground..

Belle is 2 today

Belle just turned 2 today officially on 07 May and we have celebrated a day earlier to make this post possible to be published on the actual day. Look at the big honey themed birthday cake that Jen bought for Belle. A cute and cheery looking cake. As I says, cakes from Thyme Bakery are the best. Yum yum..

Belle is kind of a shy gal, always shying away from the camera. I think she is way too excited for a bite..I agreed that the cake looks alluring and smells good. Jen had taken a lots of pictures and screened those that were too blur. Well, looking at those blur pictures makes my head buzzing..zz zz

And not forgetting getting dress up for the special occasion. Belle definitely looks a cutie bee to me. You haven't seen Jen putting up the hoop up her head covering her eyes, haha. She was walking blindly just like a bee but very smart enough to take up the hoop by just rubbing her head all the way on the sofa. Smart..


We grabbed any chances to get a lick whenever the cake is near. If you noticed hard enough, in fact I have just licked up a bee..ooppss hehe. Belle wasn't that fast..sorry gal . Anyway the human have to make do of the cake since now it's already contaminated by our saliva or else we wouldn't mind taking the whole cake on our own.. *this is one of the strategy to get a bigger piece* grin

Candles lit and it is time to sing a Happy Birthday song to Belle. Happy Birthday Bella girl.. You are 2 years old today and we all loves you! This may be the first and the last birthday with us but we will always remember you the first day you walked in to our sweet home and the day that you will be rehome to a finer family who loves you double triple more than us... loves you gal..

p/s: If you haven't notice the absence of Ron, Jen and the other two humans from the pictures, let me tell you that they are terribly shying away just like Belle. However it wasn't Belle's lucky day since it was her big day and that means you are on the camera.. smile..

Special Dedication

Some people says that life is like a box of chocolate. You will never know what you will get. I would say that life is just like a book. You start with a good beginning, with ups and downs in the middle and a hopeful good ending at the end of the chapter. From time to time, people walk into your life, loved and being loved, mistake done and lessons learned and so forth. Life as a book is exciting and somewhat terrifying.

On Saturday 25th April 2009, we have lost Uncle Rinson whom had peacefully passed away in his sleep. I would say that his book of 50 years was finely written. Good things always come to an end. And now it comes to the time where there is another good book waiting for him to explore. He is a good man with good heart, willing, generous and helpful. Bosses and colleagues were in full praise and lost of speech over the sudden lost of a multi talented friend. We indeed lost a good uncle.

I have whispered silently to him during the ceremony “Do not take the worries in this world together with you for where you do not belong in anymore. For now, we all know that you are in good hand. We missed you dearly and we shall meet when our path crosses again. "

Furry Belle

Here comes the 'Botak' Belle with her grown furs. Now she looks cute and adorable like me. For the past 5 months with us, she had already accustomed to our environment except for some bad habits which she is still unable to shrug off. Looking at good points, she is attentive and a good house dog i.e guarding and barking at strangers.

Both of us have the same mischievious interest i.e eating bamboo leaves. I do not know when I start eating those leaves and now Belle seems to copy cat me. (doggie see doggie do). It is like once pop, you never gonna stop..Both of us always caught dead with leaves sticking either on our face or paws and there it is where the nagging begins. I beginning to feel that I might happened to have a mixed lineage from a panda? hmmm...

Frankly speaking, at this height of the time I am still digging and deciding the perfect picture for the contest. I guess it is high time for Jen and Ron to start using back their Ixus since it is dusting in the wardrobe for months or even years. Guess I have to make do of my signature picture taken by Groovy sometime back.

It's my Birthday and I am 3 Years Old

Oh boy! I am finally 3 today. yippee yeah yeah! Time for some cakes and songs. My birthday wish for this year is to give me another 3 more wishes i.e more walks, more biscottis and more hugs.
